"We never manage to "drive by"... always a lovely place to stop and enjoy. Superb coffee, fantastic cakes - and on a cold day tuck yourself by the fire. Such helpful willing staff. The nursery, the ideas, the products - outstanding range. Quite possibly the best place to be at any time. Ignore the others.. Russells is a trip out and always a pleasure (even for us from Portsmouth). "

"We are moving into the area very soon and went to Russells to see if the positive comments were justified, the answer is a big yes. The coffee, cake and service were first class? The product choice extensive and the staff very friendly, we will be back again and again and again. One small negative, the car park is quiet small for the amount of visitors the center attracts."

"Just gets better. Today we decided to have a sandwich between us, a cake each and pot of tea. Nothing appears to much trouble to the ever as always friendly staff. The scone was excellent, the sandwich was a real one and the wife oooyed over the sponge. Not to mention the real tea and comfortable surroundings."

"This is a rather late, but nevertheless heartfelt, thank you. I came down to the area for a holiday the week before Easter and, as I drove towards the seaside, remembered I had visited the nursery before and spent time looking at your coastal bits and bobs. I decided to stop off for lunch. You were really busy and at first I thought it wouldn’t be possible, but the lady had a friendly and positive attitude and soon found me a magic spot on the sofa by the open fire. I had the most fabulous Welsh rarebit whilst surrounded by many others enjoying delicious your fare. A little piece of heaven - thank you! "

"Visited local friends last week over halfterm with two kiddies aged 5 and 3. Had the best bacon sandwich I've ever tasted and enjoyed my children eating the most beautiful fresh brunch, including the welsh rarebit with big juicy tomatoes which was amazing."

We run a small local business harbourcars.com and although the car industry is also a 7 day a week business we chose, for the sake of our staff and our own family, not to open on Sundays. A good work / family life balance is very important and valued. So good luck to Russells on this decision and I hope everyone will be shopping there Mondays to Saturdays and have a bit of fun on Sundays. "
